The OSCAR Fund

The OSCAR fund was created by the Van Isle Veterinary Hospital in Courtenay, BC who is one of our sister clinics, in honor of their very own clinic cat Oscar. OSCAR stands for Offering Subsidized Care for Animal Recovery, and was launched in 2012. The reason that the Van Isle team created the fund was because their Oscar always had a special gift of knowing when a little compassion was needed for both owners and pets.The OSCAR Fund is used to help our own clients when their pets are in need of medical care, and they cannot financially support it.

As a tribute to your beloved pet, you have the option to make a donation to the OSCAR fund, and in return, we will display your pet’s paw print in our building.
